Fields & Trees | Creative Photography

Not all of my shoots are (scantily clad) boudoir. Sometimes my shoots involve dresses or creative ideas I have. One such thing is a field of wildflowers.

A friend and I have been discussing the dream of finding a field of flowers for years. And nothing has been right until the other day. When she drove by this field and told me, we both knew that this one had to happen. While the field was perfect the location was not the greatest for lingerie. So we put together another option for the field and I am so glad we did.

I grabbed my wings. (Yes, the grey wings you can choose to use in the studio!!!) and she found a dress that looked amazing with them. I was just hoping to make the field work. I didn't realize I would take some of my favorite images that day!!!

Taking images in a field is fun, but many of the images can be standing poses which shockingly isn't my strong suit. I always have clients leaning or moving. Standing can be hard. But one of my favorite things is having my clients dance! And this moment was not different!

I loved so many images from this session and well, it's hard to narrow them down for you! I think I took about a 100 photos and loved most of them!!!

These are the images I captured from that day. I think I need to find some more private land and create some more boudoir style shoots. Oh the ideas.

I have so many favorites from the day. It makes me remember why I love doing creative sessions as well as boudoir sessions. So if you are thinking about a boudoir session and aren't ready for it to be just lingerie or even implied nudity, just remember it doesn't have to be.

Boudoir sessions are about you and well, if you want to wear a dress and play in a field, we can do that.
