One of the best things about the holiday season is that it gives me and my clients a chance to be spooky and creative. Sometimes the entire session is about that outfit. Other sessions just has the edge of spooky in the design around them.

I love giving my clients the creativity space they need to create some amazing ideas. It heals something from our childhood when we couldn't dress up or leaving the idea of dressing up in our childhood. 

Growing up Halloween was not a holiday my family celebrated. Yes, we would get to choose a "safe" costume to wear to school and do the school thing when we were able. There was a wedding dress, I think I was trying to be my own version of a witch. There was a waitress, a pirate and I don't remember anymore. 

There wasn't any dressing up like a witch or a "scary" things. I didn't watch Halloween movies for the most part unless they were like Disney themed and even then not really. I still have movies I have never seen and am to this day not a scary movie person. 

We were able to hand out candy at our house when we lived in town, but no trick or treating. I don't remember trunk or treat things back then. 

I think my way of healing my inner child is doing this. Getting others to dress up for Halloween sessions and decorating for you. I love being able to do that for you.
