Victorian Posing Class| Springfield Missouri Boudoir Photographer
While there are so many things to learn, posing is definitely high on the list to learn. So when I can, I take a posing class to work on all of the different poses that are possible.
The last few years I have been taking a posing class with Melody Dollarhide of Let's Get Boudie. It has been an absolute blast. Meeting other photographers who are shooting boudoir, getting assistance on posing and just getting a chance to have a good conversation about boudoir. Not everyone in my life wants to chat about it as much as I want to.
For this class, it was at a Victorian house in Webb City Missouri! It was so unique. There were a ton of spaces to photograph in as well as a claw foot bathtub. I even got a chance to do a Boudoir Mini at the house... I will be doing a blog post about it soon and will put the link in here when it's up. But I wish I had more chances to photograph in there. Maybe I will again.
If you ever have a chance to go to a posing workshop, it is seriously good practice. With this one, we had several women modeling for us as well as a couple. So there is a ton of chances to learn and get some amazing images into our portfolio. You get to try poses and angles that you have been wanting to try. With a little less stress.
